Who Are We?

Alicante’s Children School SOMOS COLORES, emerges from the personal and professional dream of their founders.

The idea of opening a Children School in Alicante comes out from the determination of two educative professional with over 20 years of experience in Children education.

After sharing a lot of moments together and match with the same idea, we have fulfilled our dream of opening a Children School in Playa San Juan (Alicante). We are sure it will be full adventures way that we will enjoy a lot.

Being responsible, creative and making the universe of the youngest a legacy full of affections, where they feel fine, happy and free to grow up. To educate is freedom and love.

Our philosophy

Somos Colores: Alicante’s Children School whose educational programme is active, dynamics and inclusive. Our main target is that youngest and their families be happy, offering significant and positive experiences, providing them with the necessary values and principles to develop in a more independent and autonomous manner, so helping them to create their own identity maximizing their intellectual capabilities.

Educational Project

Our methodology is based on alternative pedagogies aimed at the comprehensive approach of the child.

The boy and girl are the centre of our child school. Teachers are the guides that accompany the young people by preparing educational proposals based on facts of reality and nature in a clean and orderly space.

MONTESSORI METHOD Scientific Part

Through the game, art, movement and music, our children learn and develop their imagination. Free and symbolic play is the centre of the education of the youngest, working empathy, creativity and vitality.

WALDORE PEDAGOGY Art and creativity

Our spaces are developed according to what interests boys and girls. Through our projects, teachers motivate the younger to investigate and find the answer.

REG. EMILIA APPROACH Experimentation and amazement

Through the movement, we’ll achieve, especially in the smallest of our school, to develop autonomy.

Facilities

Somos Colores Children’ School is approved by the Consellería de Educación. It is a guarantee that the facilities, the staff, and the educational project and the educational project meet the quality and attention requirements of the corresponding regulations. We are also beneficiaries of the subsidy corresponding to the Bono Infantil for pupils from 0 to 3 years old for the school year 2022/2023.
